Indirect Tax Team Leader (In-house, pharma), to £90k

A multinational organisation with a well recognised brand is looking for an Indirect Tax Team leader to take responsibility for all their VAT affairs across EMEA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with already in-house experience to make that step up in terms of leadership and control. You will be leading a team of analysts, so experience of people management is an absolute must.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Internal VAT advice for the group across all its EMEA operations
• Support other global indirect tax projects
• Ensure compliance for timely and accurate reporting of VAT, Intrastat and Sales Listing
• Leading a team of VAT analysts and managers who will be responsible for VAT compliance
• Identify VAT risk and implement any solutions
• Audit program for review of VAT returns and improves VAT processes
• Inform the business of all VAT legislation changes
• Continuous ERP system involvement

Requirements:
• Solid experience of VAT with minimum 5 years PQE
• In-house tax experience as a VAT Manager
• People management experience is essential
• Professional tax qualification – ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT
• EMEA tax experience
• Good communications skills to deal with project leader and senior stakeholders
• Driven individual looking to develop their career.
