Tax Senior Manager - Funds (In-house) - London

This role can be at Manager and or Senior Manager level depending on the depth of experience the individual is bringing to the role.
You will join the Funds' corporate tax team in managing a wide range of corporate related tax workstreams, including corporate tax reporting and compliance, indirect taxation, transfer pricing, tax risk management including management of tax audits, and ad-hoc tax advisory projects.

You will have on call external service providers support as well internal support from Tax, Finance & Treasury.

This role is simply ideal for a person who is currently in public practice or looking for a step up having already worked in-house either in a financial services industry or asset management industry. On this basis you will be either CTA and or ACA and come armed with a strong knowledge of general and tax accounting, taxation of investment products, and experience organizing and retrieving large amounts of data.

As you will see this role is for a person who loves the risk management/compliance side of Tax and is committed to adding value to the running of a tax function as tax law and the industry becomes even more complex.

You will lead & run with:
• Preparing and/or reviewing tax calculations for quarterly provisions and financial reporting disclosures;
• Reviewing the tax analysis of transactions, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, and global mobility implications;
• Providing quarterly and annual tax estimates for general partners;
• Managing audit responses and documentation with various international tax jurisdictions;
• Analyzing and monitoring new tax legislative changes;

You will work with the Tax VP who has years of Alternative Investment management experience.
