A leading professional services firm is seeking an Indirect Tax specialist to join its growing M&A Tax team at Manager level. This role sits within the Real Estate and Infrastructure group, where you'll provide VAT advice on some of the most high-profile asset and corporate transactions in the market.
The position combines technical challenge with client-facing responsibility, offering exposure to a wide range of projects and the chance to progress your career in a supportive and dynamic team.
The Opportunity
* Manage VAT due diligence assignments on asset and corporate acquisitions
* Review financing and sale agreements to identify restructuring opportunities from a VAT perspective
* Provide VAT advisory services to clients in the real estate and infrastructure sectors
* Support clients with pre- and post-deal VAT strategies and compliance requirements
* Collaborate with colleagues nationally on complex and varied transactions
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
* Lead, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, ensuring quality and continuity across projects
* Identify opportunities to enhance client service and contribute to business development activities
About You
* ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent international qualification)
* Strong technical and analytical skills in UK Indirect Tax
* Previous experience working with real estate and, ideally, infrastructure clients
* Ability to manage multiple client teams and transaction workstreams concurrently
* Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
* Strong organisational and project management capability
* A collaborative approach, with a focus on both personal and team development
