Manager/ Senior Manager, Indirect Tax – Compliance, Financial Services, London

This Big 4 firm is searching for a Manager or Senior Manager level candidate with a compliance focus to join their Indirect Tax Financial Services team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading financial institutions, ensuring their indirect tax compliance obligations are met efficiently and accurately in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape. The work is technically challenging, creative and requires you to work closely with clients’ businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage the delivery of indirect tax compliance services for clients across banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech.
● Oversee VAT return preparation and submission processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
● Liaise with HMRC and other tax authorities on behalf of clients.
● Support clients with tax data management, process improvement, and technology implementation.
● Supervise and develop junior team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
● Collaborate with advisory teams to ensure seamless service delivery and identify opportunities for added value.

About You:

● In-depth understanding of UK VAT compliance requirements and reporting obligations.
● Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
● Appropriate experience working within Financial Services particularly wealth and asset management, including real estate.
● A team player with a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence.
