A major advisory group is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax Technology Director to strengthen its specialist transformation practice. The team supports large organisations that are modernising their tax functions, implementing new systems and redesigning processes to meet increasing global reporting demands.
This is a senior leadership position offering the chance to shape a growing service line, influence strategic direction and work closely with senior stakeholders across a highly regarded national business. The role is London focused, with regular collaboration across multiple UK offices.
Typical areas of responsibility include:
* Leading advisory projects for sizeable multinational groups across a variety of industries
* Overseeing technology enabled change programmes and coordinating teams delivering complex implementations
* Working with clients to map current processes, design improved workflows and identify opportunities for automation across indirect tax and related areas
* Acting as a trusted adviser on tax technology architecture, data models, governance frameworks and control environments
* Supporting the development of new propositions and contributing to the continued evolution of the firm's tax technology offering
* Helping clients enhance the value of their existing systems by identifying practical improvements and future development pathways
The successful candidate will typically bring:
* Strong expertise in indirect tax or a blend of indirect and corporate tax
* A solid understanding of finance processes, tax workflows and the practicalities of delivering change within large organisations
* Experience managing multi stream projects involving technology, data and process redesign
* An interest in the changing landscape of digital tax reporting, AI, analytics and emerging technology
* Familiarity with risk management, governance and tax control frameworks
