Taxation Recruitment - Resourcer - full or part time - UK Remote

Founded in 2007 Georgiana Head Recruitment Ltd is one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment firms servicing the taxation profession. Our team deals with an exciting mix of household name Plcs, accountancy firms and law firms. As part of the firm’s expansion we seek a new hire. This role can be based anywhere in the UK with some travel to Yorkshire and Manchester as needed. It would suit an experienced recruitment resourcer or someone with experience of the tax profession who has strong admin skills, enjoys talking to clients and who is looking for a part-time flexible role. Full time considered for a more junior hire.

The focus of the role is to:
• To identify, attract and engage tax candidates to fulfil specific tax roles and requirements based in both in-house tax teams and practice.
• To provide support to the recruitment team and the principal Georgiana Head.
• To proactively track and continuously manage the journey of a candidate customer.
• To identify new business opportunities for the business through leads (dependent on expertise and business requirements).
• To manage the database of existing candidates.
• To identify candidates from the database for vacancies.
• To keep in regular contact with candidates and to update their information.
• To help with the advertising of new vacancies.
• To work with the admin team to update and reformat candidates’ CV’s.
• Telephone screening of prospective candidates and first line support for all candidate enquiries.
• Candidate care calls.
• Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
• Attendance at tax networking events and helping the principal and team with the organisation of events.

We are interested in talking to candidates from a range of backgrounds including Taxation Recruitment, the tax profession and HR and admin roles within tax teams.

You will need excellent communication skills, advanced questioning skills, and the ability to influence and engage with all levels of candidates. Ideally you will be a market expert who can articulate their specialist knowledge and understanding of the tax world. Underpinning this will be sound admin proficiency and attention to detail. You will need a confident telephone manner as well as persistence and tenacity. We are open to a wide range of tax backgrounds - you might for example be winding down from partnership and looking for something different, or be a working parent looking for flexibility.

In return for your experience on offer is an excellent salary and bonus package. This role can be remote worked from the UK on a part-time basis (including working 5 mornings, or 3 days a week and other flexible patterns).
