Global Customs Director, Head of Consultancy

An amazing opportunity to lead and build a consulting team with this market leading logistics and transport business. Increasing globalisation, more complex trade regulations, and supply chain disruption for global customers has increased the need for customs consultancy within the business. The new team will support their growth strategy and provide global consultancy services designed for solving challenges of customs processes optimisation and complexities of regulatory changes. Your job will be to manage the end-to-end consultancy process, leading a team to deliver to client high-quality and compliant projects from initial concept to final delivery to evaluation. A large part of your role will be customer-facing as well as have a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders.

If you have a customs consultancy or customs brokerage operations background, and have operated at a senior level with responsibility for leading a team I would be keen to hear from you. You will also need to have good understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks for multiple countries, comprehensive understanding of national and international customs legislation, taxes, and non-tariff controls. The role offers great potential for personal and professional growth. The business has offices globally and the expectation is that the role can be based in your residing country with international travel. Fluency in English is essential.
