Tax & Legal AI Product Specialist - Law Cyborg, Brighton or Hybrid, to £55k + relocation

● Join an AI scale-up that is building a category-defining product
● Ideal for tax professionals who want to break into the tech industry
● Real progression path into a product role, with structured support from day one

Are you an exceptional tax specialist with a deep interest in tech?

Law Cyborg builds AI research tools that are changing how lawyers and accountants work. We're trusted by over 1,300 firms across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and we're growing fast.

We're looking for a Product Specialist to join our UK team. Your job is to run product demos for prospective customers — showing accounting and law firms how our AI tools can transform their practice. You'll become the expert on our products, understand the problems our customers face, and articulate exactly how we solve them.

This is a deliberate career-change role. We're specifically looking for people with a tax or accounting background who want to move into tech. You already understand the world our customers live in — we'll teach you the product and the tech. If you're good, this role leads directly into a product position.

What you'll be doing

● Running live product demonstrations for prospective customers (accounting and law firms)
● Learning our products inside and out — understanding the technical detail and the real-world value they deliver
● Translating complex product features into clear, compelling language that resonates with professional services firms
● Gathering customer feedback and feeding it back to the product team
● Working closely with our sales team to qualify leads and support the pipeline
● Contributing to how we position and explain our products as we enter new markets
● Helping shape the product roadmap by bringing real customer insight to the table

Essential

● A background in tax and/or accounting (qualified or part-qualified, or solid practice experience)
● Genuine interest in technology, AI, or how software is changing professional services
● Strong communication skills — you can explain complex ideas clearly and hold a room
● Comfortable owning your work end-to-end with minimal hand-holding

Important

● Curiosity about how products are built and why they work the way they do
● Ability to quickly learn new software and understand technical concepts
● Confidence presenting to senior professionals (partners, directors, practice managers)
● Analytical mindset — able to interpret what customers are really asking for

Nice to have

● Experience in a client-facing or advisory role within an accounting practice
● Familiarity with legal or tax research workflows
● Any exposure to SaaS, product management, or the tech industry
● Interest in AI and how it's reshaping professional work

What you'll get

● Salary £35,000 to £55,000
● A genuine pathway into a product role — this isn't a dead-end sales position
● Real investment in your development, with structured feedback and close collaboration with leadership
● Early exposure to a category-defining product at a high-growth tech company operating across three markets
● A small team where your contribution is visible and your impact is real

A few essentials

● Right to work in the United Kingdom
● Fluent English
● Available for full-time work
