An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bradford.

This role offers a broad and varied workload across both Corporate Tax and Personal Tax, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to develop their skills within a supportive and client-focused environment.

The position would particularly suit someone with a strong Corporation Tax background who is comfortable working across both corporate and personal tax compliance, managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, directors and private clients.
As a Mixed Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
- Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax computations and returns.
- Preparing Self Assessment tax returns for individuals, directors and private clients.
- Providing advice and support on a range of tax queries and compliance matters.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and resolving queries efficiently.
- Assisting with tax planning assignments and advisory projects.
- Building strong client relationships and ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
- Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a high-quality service.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualification, or be qualified by experience.
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice tax team.
- Strong Corporation Tax knowledge with some exposure to Personal Tax.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and handling client queries independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to develop within a long-term opportunity with an established independent firm.
