A leading professional services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Manager within its specialist tax advisory practice, working with a varied portfolio of financial services businesses on projects connected to innovation, investment and tax incentives.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced tax, accounting or finance professional who enjoys combining technical advisory work with senior client interaction, project leadership and business development. The successful candidate will work alongside specialists from a range of disciplines, helping clients understand and access tax opportunities associated with innovation and investment.
The role will involve:
* Leading high-value advisory assignments, taking ownership of projects from initial assessment through to delivery and providing commercially focused advice around innovation-related tax opportunities.
* Developing senior client relationships, working directly with finance and business leaders and translating complex technical and legislative matters into clear, practical recommendations.
* Supporting the growth of the practice, through business development, pitches and proposals, while coaching junior colleagues and contributing to the development of a high-performing specialist team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax, accounting or finance, together with relevant experience of R&D-related tax incentives, Patent Box or a similar specialist area. Strong commercial awareness, communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects are essential. CTA, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
