We’re looking for an experienced Associate Director to join a high-performing team in London, advising private equity and corporate clients on complex transactions. You’ll take a leading role across tax due diligence, transaction structuring and M&A tax advisory, working on both buy-side and sell-side deals while building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities as an Associate Director
You’ll play a key role in delivering tax advisory and transaction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include:
● Lead client discussions and present key findings
● Manage tax due diligence projects and review analysis and reports
● Advise on transaction structuring and key tax implications
● Review financial models, transaction documentation and supporting information
● Collaborate with wider advisory teams and external stakeholders
● Support business development and new client opportunities
● Manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines
● Provide technical tax guidance and support
● Coach and develop junior team members
Requirements
We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser, holding ACA, CA, CTA, ADIT or an equivalent qualification, with a strong grounding in UK tax practices. You’ll bring experience in UK corporation tax compliance and/or M&A, alongside proven client management and project management skills and the ability to advise confidently on complex technical tax matters.
Exposure to areas such as Transfer Pricing, R&D, VAT, Employment Taxes, Stamp Duty, share transactions or share option schemes would be advantageous. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and confident using Excel and PowerPoint to prepare high-quality client and target documentation.
