An excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join a highly regarded and growing tax team in Leeds, with the potential for progression to Equity Partner.

The role will focus on developing the corporate tax offering in the local market, managing a significant client portfolio and delivering high-quality advisory, planning and compliance services to a diverse range of businesses, from owner-managed companies to quoted groups.

The Role

Key areas of work will include:

    Corporate tax advisory and planning
    M&A and corporate transactions
    Property transactions, reconstructions and demergers
    Share schemes, EIS/SEIS and R&D tax
    Patent Box, exit and succession planning
    Corporate tax compliance and reporting

You will also be responsible for developing client relationships and new business, identifying cross-selling opportunities, managing projects and budgets, and contributing to the wider growth and strategy of the office.

An important part of the role will be leading, coaching and developing junior team members, while working closely with partners and other service lines to deliver an excellent client experience.
About You

You will ideally be:

    ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified
    Experienced in UK corporate tax with several years' post-qualification experience
    From a Top 100, large regional firm or tax consultancy background
    Technically strong, commercially minded and able to provide practical solutions to complex tax issues
    Experienced in client management, business development and project delivery
    A confident communicator with strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
