Clark Wood is working with a leading tax practice in Leeds seeking an experienced Personal Tax Director to help lead and grow its established private client team.

This is a senior, client-facing opportunity with an established portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and family groups, providing immediate client engagement and scope to make a significant impact.

The Role

The successful candidate will focus on complex personal tax advisory work, including:

    Leading multidisciplinary tax advisory and planning projects.
    Advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and families.
    Managing key client relationships and leading client meetings.
    Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering commercially focused advice.
    Working with partners and specialists to deliver technically robust solutions.
    Providing technical support on complex compliance matters.
    Managing WIP, recoveries and billing across your portfolio.
    Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
    Developing business and building intermediary relationships across Leeds and Yorkshire.

About You

You will have:

    Strong technical expertise across personal taxation.
    Extensive experience delivering complex advisory work.
    Experience working with entrepreneurs, OMBs, business owners and family businesses.
    The ability to manage issues spanning personal and corporate tax.
    Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
    Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
    A commercial approach to business development and networking.
