About the opportunity
Directly ensuring the provision of a top class tax service to a wide range of corporate clients, with specific responsibility for understanding and managing client needs
Actively managing client relationships ensuring timely and regular correspondence leading to proactive engagement on client projects
Oversight of on-going correspondence with both the Revenue and clients on the clients' tax affairs
Working with fellow senior managers, directors and partners to ensure the smooth running of the department and the achievement of key business goals and objectives
Involvement in sustaining/growing client business, proposing and winning new business and positively contributing to the overall development of the practice
Supervision and development of a team of tax trainees, seniors and managers
About You
Your role as a Manager, Tax will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. In this role, you will develop high- performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.
To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:
ACA and/or AITI qualified with at least 3+ years post-qualification experience
The chosen candidate will have a proven record for service excellence, be a good communicator and be able to show that they will work well both independently and as part of the tax team
You will have significant experience in, and be able to offer our clients your expertise in a range of tax matters
Proven client engagement and management skills
A strong corporate tax and capital gains technical knowledge will be essential
In addition a working knowledge of other taxes would also be helpful
