FTSE100 Head of Transfer Pricing, Berkshire, to £120k + bonus + pension

This fast growing FTSE100 listed technology business has operations in multiple locations across forty territories world wide. Following the recent merger with another international technology business, there is a need to expand the tax department.

The Group Tax Team is responsible for strategic tax decisions, group transfer pricing and international tax projects. As such there will be wide exposure to a variety both of UK and overseas tax issues. As Head of Transfer Pricing, you will drive the transfer pricing agenda across the Group. Support will be provided by various members of the Group tax team, including dedicated experts and regional managers.

Ket duties include:

Drive forward the implementation of TP policies and procedures across the Group
Ongoing review of Group TP policy and detailed TP procedure manual
Ensure tax and non-tax personnel involved in day-to-day TP procedures receive relevant training and this is refreshed annually
Maximise the value of opportunities and manage risks relating to acquisitions and integration of new entities
Optimise the IP structure in terms of operational simplicity and tax profile
Ensure the Group’s management functions are appropriately remunerated, including value attributable to the operating model and brand
Ensure TP risks in high risk territories are managed, including conclusion of APAs
Advise and support the business in relation to TP-related issues – both day-to-day and strategic
Drive the rationalisation of the Group’s TP operating model
Maintain a register of and monitor global TP risks and ensure plans are in place for addressing all risks
Manage all TP-related queries and audits raised by tax authorities
Design and review on ongoing basis SOx controls relating to TP
Ensure compliance with controls is evidenced in line with SOx requirements
Ensure detailed TP calculations and recharges are undertaken correctly
Ensure appropriate legal documentation is in place
Ensure all CBCR Master and Local file documentation is prepared.

About you:

In depth experience of TP and related issues arising in large complex organisatons
Big 4 accounting background or industry experience
Commercial approach to managing risks and developing solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders in the business
Team player, who enjoys working in a dynamic, constantly-changing environment Proven UK corporate tax background
Able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
Big 4 trained and looking to gain or develop industry experience.
